Pricing for schools
Nexus costs $20 per active student each month, plus the school’s direct model-provider usage.
Platform seats
An active student is a student the school has given current Nexus access. The monthly platform estimate is the active-student count multiplied by $20.
Provider usage
The school connects its own supported provider account. The provider bills model usage under the school's agreement; those charges are separate from Nexus.

Nexus costs $20 per active student per month. Model usage is separate and paid by the school through its provider account. This keeps usage costs visible and lets the school choose the models available to students.
What changes model usage
Longer prompts, file context, longer answers, and selecting more than one model can all increase usage. Safety checks may also use the provider. A student allowance is a spending control; it is not a promise of a fixed number of conversations.
An example you can adjust
For 100 active students, the platform amount is $2,000 per month. If the school plans for $5 of monthly model usage per student, the combined estimate is $2,500. The usage figure is a planning assumption. Actual provider usage, taxes, and fees can differ.
