Choose and compare models
Use the school's approved catalog and compare up to three explanations when your class allows it.
Choose from the approved catalog#
The school configures providers and approves models. A teacher can narrow the options for a class. The model picker reflects those choices; a model advertised by a provider may not be enabled for your workspace.
Ask one model#
Select a model, write the question, and send it. Include your attempt when asking for learning help. The class policy applies to the conversation.
Compare several responses#
When your class allows comparison, select up to three approved models. Send the question once to receive separate responses. Read each explanation, check any cited material, and choose the response you want to continue.
Comparison can help you notice a clearer explanation or a disagreement. It does not verify truth by consensus. You still need to check the work.
Understand the cost#
Each selected model creates its own request and provider usage. The school catalog shows available input and output pricing where configured. Longer context, longer answers, and multiple selected models can increase the cost of a question.

If a model is missing#
Check the selected class. A teacher may have removed the model, the school may not have enabled the provider, or an allowance may limit the request. Do not enter a private provider key in a student conversation to work around the restriction.
