Desktop App
Accessing Nexus via the desktop application
The instructions below describe the underlying client. They do not establish a supported Nexus school client release.
Nexus availability#
A Nexus-branded desktop app distribution has not been released through this documentation. Use the web workspace while that client is evaluated.
Account and school access#
Any additional client must preserve the workspace's sign-in, class membership, approved models, and cost controls. A generic client download does not demonstrate that these Nexus school workflows work in that client.
What a supported client must preserve#
The client needs sign-in for the selected workspace, class selection for school conversations, approved-model choices, and the same server-side permissions as the web app. Source citations and file access must continue to respect account permissions.
Use the web version#
Open the school workspace in a current browser. You can keep it in a separate browser profile for school work. For personal work, use l.narb.cc.
Request client access#
Contact support for the current distribution and testing status. Do not use a download for a different platform product as evidence of a Nexus release.## What a supported client must preserve
