Connect Axero
Choose which Axero spaces Nexus can index for your school.
An operator must configure this source in your workspace. These steps describe the connector code; they do not mean your school has connected an account.
What this connector reads#
The Axero connector can read articles, blogs, wiki pages, and forum content. The connection can be restricted to specific Axero spaces.
Add the credential#
Your school operator needs the Axero site's base URL and API token. Store both in the connector credential form. Their engine field names are base_url and axero_api_token.
Use an account whose Axero access matches the material approved for the connection. Do not use a student's personal token for a school-wide source.
Select spaces#
Open connector settings and choose Axero. Enter the IDs of the spaces to include in the Spaces field. Enter space IDs rather than display names.
Leaving this list empty asks the connector to index all spaces available to its credential. Start with a small set of approved spaces so you can check the results.
The Axero form defaults to a daily indexing interval. An indexing schedule is separate from a student's chat: a new Axero post may not appear until a later run.
Check the results#
After a successful run, search for a known article and open its citation. Check a forum example if students will use forum content. Confirm that content outside the selected spaces is not included by this connection.
If results are missing, check the space IDs, token access, and indexing errors. Verify Nexus document access with a student test account before sharing the source with a class.
