Connect Coda
Use approved Coda pages and tables as sources for classroom questions.
An operator must configure this source in your workspace. These steps describe the connector code; they do not mean your school has connected an account.
What this connector reads#
The Coda connector reads documents available to its API token. It can index page content and table rows. A connected source gives Nexus material to retrieve; it does not give students permission to edit Coda.
Prepare access#
Use a Coda account that can read the material your school wants to share. Create a Coda API token and enter it in the connector credential form. The engine calls this field coda_bearer_token. Keep the token out of chat prompts and shared skills.
The connector validates its token by requesting a document list. A rejected token must be corrected before indexing can begin.
Connect the source#
Open the connector settings in your school workspace and choose Coda. Add the credential and save the connection. The standard connection form does not ask for a document URL. It reads the documents available to the configured account.
An operator can configure workspace_id through the connector configuration when a workspace restriction is needed. index_page_content controls page content processing. These options are not separate fields in the current basic Coda form.
Check a classroom example#
Wait for the initial indexing run to finish. Search for a distinctive sentence in an approved page. Open its citation and check that it points to the expected Coda document. Repeat with a table containing information students will use.
Check access with a student test account before assigning the source to a class. If a page is missing, check the token account's document access and the indexing run's error details.
